The Voice Season 30 Just Unveiled Major Changes to How Fans Will Vote (DETAILS)

The Voice is celebrating a milestone 30th season with a totally new way of choosing the winner. That’s right, The Voice is introducing brand new voting methods this time around, giving fans even more control over who will claim the coveted title next.  

After we get acquainted with The Voice Season 30 Coaches lineup — Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Queen Latifah, and Riley Green — and find out who lands on which team during the Blind Auditions, the Artists will battle it out on the big stage before the competition brings back the fan-favorite Live Shows. And during six weeks of Live Shows (that’s right, six whole weeks!), fans will be voting for their favorites every step of the way.

How to vote during The Voice Season 30

When the Live Shows kick off, The Voice fans will be treated to six weeks of episodes featuring live performances and special guest appearances. Each week, fans will have a chance to vote for their favorite Artists by one of two ways:  

• TikTok: Look for a pinned post on The Voice’s official TikTok account, which will clearly list all eligible Artists. Then leave one single comment with one Artist’s name — this is your “vote.” To vote for more than one Artist during the Live Shows, you’ll need to leave multiple comments, with each comment only mentioning one Artist’s name. Your TikTok account must be public to vote.  
• SMS: Text the name of your favorite Artist(s) to the short code shared on The Voice. To vote for more than one Artist during the Live Shows, you’ll need to text only one Artist’s name at a time. Participating wireless carrier. Message and data rates may apply.

The Voice Season 30 Live Shows will simulcast on NBC and Peacock 

The Voice is making it easier than ever to watch and participate in Season 30’s Live Shows. In addition to voting via SMS or TikTok, The Voice’s Live Shows will be simulcast on NBC and Peacock in all time zones for the first time in the show’s history.  

The Live Show segment of the competition will also feature “Theme Week” episodes, which are slated to pay tribute to country music icon Dolly Parton and celebrate all things Y2K and TikTok.

The Voice Season 30 winner will perform at an epic gig in 2027

Thanks to a partnership between The Voice, Live Nation Studios, and the Governors Ball Music Festival, the winner of Season 30 will walk away from the competition with an amazing gig already booked on their calendar. Marking another historic first for The Voice, this season’s winner will score a performance on the Governors Ball 2027 main stage. 

The Voice is gearing up for one memorable season and it all starts with a three-night premiere event. The Voice Season 30 premieres with a two-hour episode on Monday, September 21 at 8 p.m. ET, followed by one-hour episodes on Tuesday, September 22, and Wednesday, September 23 at 8 p.m. ET. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
