Terry Bussey injury updates: Texas A&M WR carted off field after opening kickoff

Bussey suffered the injury to his right leg, according to the ESPN broadcast. The injury occurred on the opening play of the game when he received the kickoff and landed awkwardly before fumbling, although he was later ruled to be down.

Bussey, a former five-star recruit, was set for a larger role in the Aggies’ offense this season next to Mario Craver, Isaiah Horton and Ashton Bethel-Roman, who is out for Week 3 after suffering an injury against Arizona State last week. Bussey is also Texas A&M’s primary kick and punt returner.

The 5-foot-10 receiver has 42 receptions for 503 yards with four total touchdowns for his career.
