The Sparks initially hired Lynne Roberts in 2025 as head coach under former general manager Raegan Pebley, who was also fired this season, albeit back in July. Across her two season, she had a combined overall record of 37-51, and the Sparks failed to make the playoffs, making it the sixth consecutive year the team has failed to qualify for the postseason.
