Seven IU football players on first availability report ahead of Northwestern game
Seven IU football players appeared on the first of four Big Ten availability reports ahead of the Northwestern game.
OUT are cornerback Carson Williams, wide receiver Lebron Bond and running back Khobie Martin.
Both Bond and Martin have missed the last two weeks with their injuries. Williams played in the first two games but not week three.
DOUBTFUL is cornerback A.J. Harris. He was injured in the first quarter in week one and does not appear close to a return. Head coach Curt Cignetti said Harris has only participated in around 20% of the team’s practices since joining the program due to various injuries.
QUESTIONABLE are kicker Nico Radicic and defensive ends Stephen Daley and Kellan Wyatt.
Radicic was injured in practice ahead of week two, while Daley and Wyatt are awaiting a court ruling to determine if they are eligible to play.
Beginning this year, Big Ten schools will submit four availability reports per week, beginning three days before a contest and concluding with a gameday report. Institutions will submit reports by 8pm ET/7pm CT/5pm PT three days (e.g., on Wednesday for a Saturday game), two days, and one day before scheduled kickoff. A final gameday submission will be due two hours before kickoff.
