Sen. Moye Extends Community Tour in Bong County’s District 3

Senator Prince Kermue Moye Sr. continued his grassroots outreach in District 3, discussing development plans and delivering aid across several communities.
A community tour with motorcycles, school support, and sports gear is how Senator Prince Kermue Moye Sr. is pressing his message in Bong County.
On Saturday, the senator extended his outreach across Electoral District 3, where he shared development priorities and delivered assistance to residents in multiple communities.. The first stop in the day was Gbaota, where Moye emphasized the importance of staying in close contact with citizens and updating them on initiatives he is pursuing for the county.
In Gbaota, Moye also acknowledged support he said he received from citizens and supporters during the 2023 elections, including backing for his political organization, Friends of Moye.. He referenced earlier efforts he helped advance, including support for a women’s center and moves aimed at strengthening the local market.
He then laid out national programs he said are meant to improve roads and bolster key sectors like health, education, agriculture, and workforce development.. To support Gbaota directly, he donated a motorcycle and provided cash assistance for Friends of Moye members facing transportation difficulties, while also delivering 100 plastic chairs to churches.
Women in the community received lappas, and residents were asked to identify land for a multipurpose building that Moye pledged to finance.. He also contributed to the Gbaota Citizens Saving Union and supplied sports equipment, including football jerseys and balls, alongside cash support for local sports.
This kind of on-the-ground outreach matters because it turns political promises into visible, immediate needs residents can point to, even as larger projects move through longer planning and budgeting processes.
In Kelekpa, Moye addressed concerns about the road condition connecting the area to Gbaota. He commended locals for their role in a school project supported through his office, while urging residents to remember officials who show up for communities when problems escalate.
Moye promised to complete the Kelekpa Public School and said road work will begin once Bong County receives its allocation of heavy equipment purchased by the government.. The day’s support there included another motorcycle donation, financial backing for three volunteer teachers, and sports materials such as jerseys plus iron goalposts.
Meanwhile, in Weamue Town, Moye met with administrators and students of the Inspiring Life Foundation School System after hearing concerns about classroom space and seating.. He pledged additional support and made a cash donation, then shifted to Jenipleta for what he described as the final commitment of the day.
In Jenipleta, Moye promised to build a multipurpose center and asked local leaders to identify a suitable site.. He also announced scholarship opportunities for young people pursuing academic studies or technical and vocational education, while residents received sports supplies, cash assistance, and lappas for women.
The wider takeaway from the route through District 3 is that development advocacy in Bong County is being packaged as both long-term planning and short-term relief, with each stop reflecting different community priorities.
