The incident reportedly unfolded Tuesday night when William Paul, the son of Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), interrupted a conversation between Rep. Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.) and a reporter at a restaurant bar. The confrontation escalated quickly, according to the account provided by the reporter involved.
In the reported exchange, William Paul allegedly told Lawler that if Rep. George Santos loses, it would be because of “your people.” When Lawler asked who “your people” referred to, William Paul reportedly responded with a slur aimed at Jewish people, telling Lawler, “Yeah, you Jews.”
The reported back-and-forth continued as Lawler challenged the accusation, saying he was not Jewish. William Paul, according to the account, then appeared to pivot while continuing to press his claims, expressing that he was “sorry for calling you a Jew.”

this is exactly what happens when people watch too much tucker carlson i been saying this for years. these guys get all these crazy ideas from tv and then go out in public acting like they know everything and then they make a fool of themselves and their whole family. rand paul has always had weird positions on stuff and now his son is out here embarrassing him in bars and i feel like this is bigger than just one drunk night this is like a mindset problem that comes from somewhere and nobody wants to talk about where it actually comes from
