Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now ‘completely out of touch’ with David and Victoria Beckham, source says: ‘Meghan would love to have Victoria as a mentor, but instead, she’s got her as an enemy’ 

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly won’t be hanging out with David Beckham and Victoria Beckham in the Cotswolds.

According to a source, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have lost contact with their A-list friends and likely will not be seeing them now that they’re back in England.

Although the couples were close at one point, the foursome reportedly had a falling out during Harry and Meghan’s time in America, though what allegedly happened is unclear.

“There was a time when Victoria and Meghan were as thick as thieves,” the source told Closer. “There was even some talk when they were friends that they might team up on a project, so to now be completely out of touch is pretty sad.

“She’s in a position with her brand where she could really use Victoria’s help,” the source continued. “In an ideal world, Meghan would love to have Victoria as a mentor, but instead, she’s got her as an enemy. It’s no wonder she’s bitter about this.”

Harry and Meghan ‘sad’ things ‘have fallen apart so badly’

As the Spare author and the Suits actress settle into their life in the U.K., they’re reportedly disappointed that the former soccer star and the fashion designer likely won’t be knocking on their door.

“It is very sad from both Meghan and Harry’s perspective that things have fallen apart so badly with the Beckhams because they genuinely feel that what happened in the first place was more of a misunderstanding than anything else,” the source explained.

“They certainly never expected it to be a reason for David and Victoria to ghost them and end an entire friendship.”

Harry and Meghan ‘tried very hard to fix’ their friendships with David and Victoria

Despite the alleged rift, Harry and Meghan have reportedly done their best to get back into David and Victoria’s good graces.

“They have both tried very hard to fix things with the Beckhams,” the source claimed.

“There’s been nothing in return, not even a welcome-back message, so their stance has become even more clear since she and Harry arrived back in England,” the source added.

Meghan fears Victoria will ‘sabotage’ efforts to make friends in the U.K.

Given the former pop star’s connections in London society, Meghan is reportedly worried she won’t be welcomed in those circles.

“What’s worst is the fear that Victoria might go so far as to sabotage Meghan’s chances in the U.K. since there’s obviously some pretty bad blood on her part,” the source said.

“Victoria is known to be very competitive,” the source alleged.
