Apple TV’s Pluribus came with a meth lab-sized amount of hype, and why wouldn’t it? Created by Breaking Bad’sVince Gilligan and starring Better Call Saul’sRhea Seehorn, the show is a who’s who of some of the best TV has to offer from the 21st century.

The series was just as good as expected, and now fans are waiting for any type of news they can get on when the next season will come out. This is everything we know so far about Pluribus season 2.

When does Pluribus season 2 come out?

The short answer is that it’s not going to come out for a long time. Forbes reports that the show just finished writing and will commence filming shortly. If we use the same timeframe as with season 1 for when writing finished and the release date happened, it would be until July 2028 when season 2 premieres.

Pluribus, being a science fiction show, should ease the burden of the wait on the fans. These things take a long time to write, act, and produce. Apple TV’s quality is always high, so what you’re getting is hopefully worth the wait. Not all shows on the streamer take that long to come out, though. The wait between Silo season 3 and season 4 will be only a single turn of the calendar.

Who will star in Pluribus season 2?

Expect most of the main actors to return from season 1. Rhea Seehorn will be as incredible as ever as Carol Sturka. The Emmy-nominated actress is looking to take home her first crown for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series at the Emmy Awards on September 14. She was snubbed so many times when she played Kim Wexler in Better Call Saul, so fans of both that show and this one are rooting for her to be recognized for her incredible talent. Karolina Wydra is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, and she’ll also return for season 2.
