NPP Expels Kevin Taylor and Ernest Owusu Bempah

The New Patriotic Party has officially expelled Kevin Taylor and Ernest Owusu Bempah following allegations of gross misconduct and anti-party activities.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced the expulsion of Kevin Taylor and Ernest Owusu Bempah from the party with immediate effect.. In a statement dated May 10, 2026, and signed by the party’s General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, the NPP said the decision was taken in accordance with provisions of the party’s constitution.. According to the statement, the two individuals were found guilty of gross misconduct, anti-party activities, public attacks on the party, undermining

its leadership, and conduct deemed inconsistent with the values and principles of the NPP.. The party said their actions brought the NPP into disrepute, caused division, and violated the trust placed in them as members and public figures associated with the party.. The statement noted that the decision followed consultations with relevant party organs and was taken in line with Articles 3(5), 4(2)(b), and 12(1)(a) of the NPP Constitution.. The NPP reiterated its commitment to

discipline, unity, and what it described as its collective vision of building a strong and prosperous Ghana.. The party also called on its members to remain calm, focused, and committed to its cause.
