Meta Connect 2026 Playlist Signals Zuckerberg’s Vibe

Mark Zuckerberg says Meta Connect 2026 is Sept. 23–24 and shares a Spotify playlist he calls “Connect 2026 Vibes.”

Mark Zuckerberg is framing Meta Connect 2026 as a look at the future, but the first real clue he has shared so far comes in playlist form—and it leans less “visionary tech summit” and more “college party.”

Zuckerberg. the Meta founder. chairman. and CEO. announced on Tuesday that Meta Connect. the company’s annual conference that typically signals what the tech giant is prioritizing next. will be held September 23–24.. Last year. Meta used the event’s stage to debut AI glasses. underscoring how central Connect has become for showcasing emerging product direction.

With limited detail yet on what will be unveiled this year. Zuckerberg offered a preview of the mood through a new Spotify collection titled “Connect 2026 Vibes.” The playlist includes five mainstream. EDM-adjacent pop tracks. among them Jack Harlow’s release “Say Hello. ” a remix of Tame Impala’s “Dracula. ” and “Born Again” by Thai artist Lisa featuring Doja Cat and RAYE.

The song selection, by its own branding, suggests a light, pop-heavy energy rather than a tightly scripted technology narrative. The overall effect—at least based on what’s publicly shared—reads like the kind of upbeat soundtrack associated with social events, not an anything-goes future showcase.

Zuckerberg’s willingness to publicly reveal more about his taste in music has grown in recent years. often aligning with an effort to appear more relaxed and relatable in public.. For example. he dressed up as Benson Boone for his wife’s 40th birthday. and he also shared an acoustic version of “Get Low” by Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz that he recorded with T-Pain. billing the collaboration as “Z-Pain.”

On Spotify, his activity also adds texture to how his tastes have shifted. Artists he follows range from millennial-era staples such as Taio Cruz, Gym Class Heroes, Cher Lloyd, and fun., to larger mainstream names including Florence and the Machine, Drake, Lady Gaga, and Pitbull.

The playlist he shared previously, “2004 facebook coding jams,” presents a different emotional tone.. That earlier selection leans more angst-driven, featuring tracks by Trapt, Hoobastank, and Linkin Park.. Even with the different vibe between the two playlists. Zuckerberg’s Spotify follows also point to personal continuity: he still follows Linkin Park co-founder Mike Shinoda’s solo work.

Across these updates. the musical thread that stands out is Daft Punk’s “Harder. Better. Faster. Stronger.” The track appears on both “Connect 2026 Vibes” and “2004 facebook coding jams. ” making it the closest thing to a recurring personal mission statement—whatever Meta is preparing to show on September 23–24.

  1. Honestly I don’t care what songs he likes. Meta Connect always ends up being a bunch of marketing fluff anyway. If the AI glasses are real and not vaporware, then sure, show me that.

  2. Lol “college party” energy 😂 But I mean, he literally shows up dressed as random artists sometimes. This just makes it feel like another rich-person hype event. Still, Daft Punk on both lists is kinda funny.

  3. The playlist choice actually tells you something, though. Like it’s clearly not aiming for a super technical “we’re unveiling breakthroughs” tone. It’s more about presenting Meta as lifestyle/consumer tech—especially after the AI glasses last year.
