Megan Fox is fronting a new campaign for the prescription erectile dysfunction treatment Ro Sparks, aiming to de-stigmatize the conversation around intimacy in long-term relationships.
The red. skintight catsuit Megan Fox wears in her latest commercial serves a singular purpose: turning the actress into the human embodiment of a prescription pill. As the new face of Ro Sparks. a treatment from the health company Ro. Fox spent the shoot navigating a script that combined the active ingredients of Viagra and Cialis—sildenafil and tadalafil—into a single performance.
At 40, Fox says the casting felt instinctive. While she expected the production to be tame. the company leaned heavily into the double entendres. forcing the creative team to actually dial back the humor. In the final spot. Fox lounges on the floor. detailing how the medication dissolves under the tongue for speed and remains in the system for up to 36 hours. She even delivers the logistical details, assuring viewers that the prescribed product arrives in discreet packaging.
Though she treats the medication as a character, her approach to the underlying issue is pointedly serious. Fox views the project as a vehicle to strip away the shame often associated with erectile dysfunction. Having navigated long-term partnerships—including a 15-year relationship and decade-long marriage with Brian Austin Green that ended in 2020. followed by a years-long relationship with Machine Gun Kelly that resulted in a daughter—Fox has firsthand experience with the cycles of intimacy.
“Anyone who’s been married or in a long-term relationship knows your sex life goes through peaks and valleys,” she observed. “When it’s in those valleys, the conversations are very important. Transparency is very important.”
Her message to men is that a medical hurdle is not a personal failure. She maintains that erectile dysfunction is not a reflection of a man’s sexuality or masculinity, urging partners to stop viewing the condition as a secret to be buried.
This shift in focus comes as Fox re-enters the public spotlight. Earlier this year. she returned to Instagram after a lengthy hiatus with a simple declaration. “I’m alive. new pics just dropped. ” an announcement that drew a public comment from Machine Gun Kelly. who joked. “stoked i have your phone number.” While recent months have seen MGK linked to dating speculation involving Dakota Johnson. Fox has turned her energy toward this campaign.
She frames the goal as a collaborative effort rather than a one-sided fix. “We’re on the same team,” Fox said. “We want the same thing. Let’s do this together.”
