Man Charged Following Major Cocaine Seizure in Co Tyrone

A 30-year-old man faces multiple charges after authorities discovered a large stash of cocaine worth £1 million during a search in County Tyrone.
A 30-year-old man remains in custody following a major narcotics investigation that led to a substantial cocaine seizure in County Tyrone.
Police confirmed the arrest took place in the Cookstown area this past Friday. Following the initial detention, officers conducted a follow-up search at a property located in Dungannon.
During the search, authorities uncovered a quantity of suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of £1 million. This discovery marks a significant removal of illicit substances from the region.
This incident highlights the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to disrupt drug trafficking networks operating within rural communities.
The suspect faces a comprehensive list of charges, including being concerned in the supply of Class A and Class B controlled drugs. He is also accused of possessing Class A drugs with the intent to supply.
Beyond the drug-related offenses, investigators have levied additional charges against the man.. These include possessing and transferring criminal property, as well as multiple counts involving the possession and creation of indecent images of children.. Furthermore, he faces a charge related to attempting to pay for sexual services.
Legal proceedings are set to begin this Monday, with the man expected to appear before Dungannon Magistrates’ Court to address the allegations.
