Kandi Burruss Says Divorce Healing Isn’t Finished Yet

Kandi Burruss opened up about why she isn’t “healed” yet following her divorce from Todd Tucker, sharing how she’s trying to keep moving forward while still feeling the weight of the split.
Kandi Burruss is trying to stay upbeat after her divorce from Todd Tucker, but in a new emotional interview, she made one thing unmistakably clear: healing takes longer than a good attitude.
Speaking in an exclusive conversation with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Burruss admitted she’s been busy and trying to protect her peace, but she’s not pretending it’s all better. “How does anybody navigate?” she asked, fighting back tears as she reflected on life after the split.
“I don’t think I’m healed.” Kandi added, “No, I’m not healed! I’m one of those people I try not to talk about stuff because I don’t like to be emotional. I don’t like to be sad. I like to lean into the positive and lean into the fun.”
