Jacob Elordi’s Dating History: From Joey King to Kendall

Jacob Elordi’s name has followed him from on-set romances to high-profile public pairings. From his early chemistry with Joey King during The Kissing Booth to his long, widely watched connection with Zendaya, his timeline also includes reported dates with Cari

Jacob Elordi’s dating life has never been shy about spotlight time—whether it started with long days on a film set or with paparazzi catching him in public with Hollywood’s most recognizable faces.

The Australian-born actor’s rise has been fast: he began his career as an extra on the set of 2017’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. then starred in Netflix’s The Kissing Booth in 2018.. He later led The Kissing Booth 2 in 2019 and returned for the third installment in 2021.. In 2022, he appeared alongside Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas in Hulu’s erotic thriller Deep Water.. These roles helped make him one of Hollywood’s most in-demand leading romantic interests—along with a pattern of relationships that quickly became part of pop culture.

When Jacob Elordi began filming The Kissing Booth with Joey King in early 2017, their chemistry was obvious—at least to fans. But King later described the start as less instantly romantic and more accidental.

In 2018. King told Bello that she initially thought Elordi was “very cute” when they first met. but that “it started as a friendship.” She said. “Right away. we were talking about gross things with each other.. But before long. I started to realize. ‘Hey. I think I kind of like this person!’” She also reflected on what it meant to date on set. describing the intensity of spending “17 hours a day together” and then hanging out after work. with the two of them and others watching movies.

By late 2018, their relationship had run its course, which may have made filming the sequels—The Kissing Booth 2 and the third installment—awkward at best. Still, the follow-up films carried forward the charm and chemistry audiences expected.

Summer 2019 brought another reported romance: model Cari Flowers. She and Elordi were said to be dating casually.

Fans got loud after Flowers posted a portrait of herself on May 28, 2019 and tagged Jacob.. In the caption. she wrote. “Lines still on my face from the nap i apparently took.” People assumed he took the photo. especially when he later appeared in posts cozying up to and kissing her. and in another series of pics where he was seen shirtless.

Then, the story seemed to shift. Flowers reportedly removed the photos from her account and untagged Jacob. Neither Cari nor Jacob commented on the possible relationship.

Elordi’s most visible on-screen relationship turned personal as well—at least for a while.. He and Zendaya met when filming Euphoria began in 2018.. They weren’t seen together publicly right away. though: in August 2019 they were spotted in Greece. and later in October they were seen going to a movie in Sherman Oaks. California.

Elordi told GQ in December 2019 that Zendaya was like a “sister. ” even though he had taken her to Australia a month earlier to spend time with his family during Thanksgiving.. After that, they continued to look cozy in public.. Their last known appearance together came in March 2020, when photographers captured them browsing at a flea market in Los Angeles.

Elordi’s next chapter, according to the public record, involved Kaia Gerber. He was first linked to her in September 2020. The two were photographed on a date night at Nobu in New York.

At the time, a source told E! News that it wasn’t “anything series,” adding that “Jacob makes Kaia laugh, and her family adores him.” By Valentine’s Day of 2021, they were definitely an item, with Kaia posting Instagram stories that showed flowers he sent her for the romantic holiday.

In May 2021, Kaia told Vogue about the relationship: “Lust is touching other people or wanting them, but love is really seeing someone.”

But by November 2021, the reports shifted again. E! News said they were on the outs, and a source told the outlet, “They split and it is amicable.” Another source told Life & Style that schedules were the problem: “Their schedules conflicted, they weren’t spending much time together.”

Jacob Elordi’s most recent leading-lady spot in the timeline is Olivia Jade Giannulli, daughter of Lori Loughlin. They were first seen together in Los Angeles getting coffee in December 2021, with a Us Weekly source saying they were “taking it slow.”

By May 2022, they were officially an item.

However, by January 2024, the relationship was said to be over. In a January 17 report, it was reported they’d called it quits. The reason wasn’t clear, and this wasn’t described as the first time they had split during an on-and-off relationship.

Even then, the breakup news wasn’t the final word. On January 18, another report claimed the relationship was still very much alive, with a source telling E! News, “They are not broken up,” in a terse comment.

Then in April 2026, new Kendall Jenner romance rumors hit the internet. The buzz reportedly began after gossip account DeuxMoi said Elordi and Jenner were spotted kissing at a Coachella after-party.

Later that month, People reported that Kendall and Jacob had “been hanging out and getting to know each other the last couple months.” In May 2026, they were spotted together at a hotel in Hawaii.

Across all of it, what stands out is the pattern of Elordi’s relationships living in public view—sometimes starting quickly, sometimes cooling off, and often resurfacing in fragments that range from a tagged post to a photo taken at an after-party.
