Now, after a lengthy hiatus that saw previously-aired episodes airing in the show’s long-standing 11:30 p.m. ET time slot, it’s time for a fresh cycle of the most Emmy-winning show of all time.

Who is SNL’s September 26 Host and Musical Guest?

New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson, who helped deliver the city’s first NBA championship in over 50 years this past summer, is Host of tonight’s premiere. Brunson is the fifth professional basketball player to host Saturday Night Live, and the first since LeBron James in 2007.
From making a cameo in a pre-taped Emmys segment alongside Mariska Hargitay to celebrating with his teammates on The Tonight Show a day after their historic victory and an upcoming guest role on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in Episode 5, Brunson has grown accustomed to cameras pointed squarely in his direction.

What is the Saturday Night Live schedule this October?
Two more consecutive new episodes will follow in the coming weeks. Dakota Johnson is set as Host for the October 3 episode with rock band Turnstile.
On October 10, Shane Gillis will Host with Rosalía as Musical Guest. After a two-week break, breakout Obsession star Inde Navarrette makes her hosting debut on Halloween, October 31, with Gracie Abrams returning as Musical Guest.
