Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz met with the media Tuesday in Columbia to recap the Tigers’ win over Kansas and preview the upcoming game versus Troy.
Missouri football will finish its nonconference schedule on Saturday, Sept. 19, with a matchup against Troy at Memorial Stadium, which will also be the 100th anniversary game for the Tigers’ home stadium.
Ranked No. 22 in the USA TODAY US LBM coaches poll, Mizzou (2-0) beat Kansas 38-21 on Sept. 11 in Lawrence for a fifth straight win in the Border War series. The Tigers’ SEC schedule begins Sept. 26 at Mississippi State.
Troy (2-0) heads to Columbia undefeated with wins over Sam Houston and Alabama State. The Trojans went to the Sun Belt Conference title game in 2025.

Mizzou’s game against Troy will stream on SEC Network+, meaning it does not have a traditional television designation.

Kevin Fitzpatrick will be the play-by-play announcer for the game, and Charles Arbuckle will be the on-air analyst.

This game originally was scheduled to be a morning kickoff but changed shortly before the beginning of the 2026 season. Missouri’s game against Troy will now kick off at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at Memorial Stadium in Columbia.
