Caleb Williams is joining Hallmark’s Chicago Bears holiday movie, adding another major spotlight for the young quarterback.
The Chicago Bears have a lot of exciting developments entering the 2026 NFL season involving Caleb Williams. The superstar quarterback is getting into the Christmas spirit with a special appearance in Hallmark’s upcoming Chicago Bears movie.
The network and the franchise teased the quarterback’s feature in a joint social media post over the weekend. Williams now joins other current and former Bears players who are expected to make appearances in the holiday movie.
“The latest addition to the star-studded Holiday Touchdown cast Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story premieres Saturday, October 17 at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel, streaming next day on Hallmark Plus!” the caption read on Instagram.
Back in June this year, the Bears announced teaming up with Hallmark Media, the NFL, and Skydance Sports for Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story. Chicago head coach Ben Johnson and tight end Colston Loveland announced the project through the team’s social media channels, as reported by the NFL’s website.
According to reports, the movie is filmed entirely in and around Chicago. Bears President and CEO Kevin Warren said the project will give the team another way to connect with its fans through football, family, and the holiday season.
The movie also adds to another feature for the Bears star, as Williams was announced as the cover athlete for Madden NFL 27. Additionally, the new Hallmark project gives the franchise another major spotlight away from the field.
With the feature, the Bears became the third NFL team in three years to receive a Hallmark holiday movie. The Kansas City Chiefs were featured in 2024, followed by the Buffalo Bills in 2025.
The timing is also fitting for Chicago. The Bears are scheduled to host the Green Bay Packers on Christmas Day in Week 16.
