Greg Brockman told the court that his stake in OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, is worth nearly $30 billion. The testimony, reported by Misryoum, also framed Brockman’s wealth trajectory alongside other investments discussed during the trial.
That same courtroom day included details beyond OpenAI. Brockman testified about a $471 million investment in Stripe, a payments firm where he previously worked, and described a stake in CoreWeave, a cloud computing provider with a deal connected to OpenAI.

He also testified about an email soliciting donations from another potential donor. saying he discussed a $100. 000 commitment but did not end up making that donation.
