‘Get In, Patriots’: JD Vance Finds A Weird, Hairy Reason To ‘Arrest’ El-Sayed In Bizarre TikTok

Vice President JD Vance joked Tuesday on TikTok about arresting Michigan’s Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed for a bizarre reason: his facial hair.

“So I heard in the state of Michigan they have outlawed patchy beards,” said the bearded veep while hopping into what looks like a police truck in the clip.

“Get in, patriots. We’re going to arrest Abdul El-Sayed.”

A montage later plays showing various shots of the VP as KRS-One’s “Sound of da Police” — a hip-hop classic that’s critical of systemic racism — is heard in the background.

The clip from Vance, who once teased that he “hates good-looking guys with beards” because they make him feel “jealous,” marks the latest entry in his beef with El-Sayed.

Vance, in a speech at an Ohio steel plant last month, fixated on El-Sayed’s Muslim identity while distorting his comments on Islamic law, telling the crowd that he’d love to go back in time to tell his “papaw” about the progressive.

El-Sayed — who, along with his wife Sarah Jukaku, were mocked by President Donald Trump earlier in the month — got personal with Vance.

“So do we think JD is taking Usha with him back in time to meet Papaw, or no…” El-Sayed wrote on X, in a nod to the second lady’s Indian ancestry.

The veep wasn’t happy with the reply, taking a page from Will Smith’s playbook by telling him, “keep my wife’s name the hell out of your mouth.”

El-Sayed later appeared on CNN, where he said Trump and Vance should “face down their own hypocrisy.”

Vance’s TikTok arrived on the same day he spoke with House Republicans about the midterms, advising GOP candidates running against Democrats who are “not that crazy” to “just talk about” El-Sayed on the campaign trail.

“He’s got enough material for the whole country,” Vance said, per NBC News.
