Freedom 250 ticket drawing opens May 29 for DC

The Freedom 250 Grand Prix is launching a Ticketmaster ticket request window from May 29 to June 7 for free one- and two-day general admission IndyCar race tickets in Washington, D.C.

Freedom 250 Grand Prix said fans will be able to request two-day and single-day general admission tickets via Ticketmaster from May 29 to June 7. Registration alone does not guarantee tickets, and requests are entered into a drawing, with selected fans notified by email.
The offer is set up to keep seats within reach for more people: fans can secure up to four free tickets per day. Once selected, they’ll be able to access one of two ticketed areas designed to provide the best possible view of the race.
“We want everyone to have a chance to experience this very special patriotic weekend featuring the NTT INDYCAR SERIES racing in one of the most historic and iconic settings in the world,” Bud Denker, chairman of the Freedom 250 Grand Prix, said.
The race itself is described as a 1.7-mile street circuit through the District, running past the U.S.. Capitol, the Washington Monument and the National Air and Space Museum..
