Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever enter Sunday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse knowing the next game can’t just be close—it has to end with a first home win.

The Fever are 1-2 overall and still searching for their first victory at home after opening at Gainbridge Fieldhouse with an 0-2 start. Their most recent outing ended in overtime against the Washington Mystics, a loss that still leaves this matchup against the Seattle Storm loaded with expectation.

Clark and Kelsey Mitchell carried the offense, and Aliyah Boston left the game in the third quarter with a leg injury. Mitchell and Clark both average more than 25 points per game, raising the stakes for how Indiana responds if Boston can’t go.

The Storm come into Indianapolis at 1-2, led by Dominique Malonga with 16.0 points and 7.3 rebounds, though she’s out with a concussion. Jade Melbourne paces the lineup with 14.0 points and 5.0 assists, and rookie Flau’jae Johnson is contributing 11.7 points and 4.7 rebounds.

Indiana’s game plan could also be shaped by the Fever’s current injury uncertainty.. Boston is listed as questionable after suffering a lower leg injury late in her Unrivaled season. with it “not immediately clear if those injuries are related. ” and she did not return after leaving against the Mystics.

On the other side, Seattle’s inactive list is long: Ezi Magbegor (right foot), Dominique Malonga (concussion), Katie Lou Samuelson (right knee), and Awa Fam (not with team) are out.

Kickoff for Indiana Fever vs. Seattle Storm is 6 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 17.

The TV broadcast is Peacock and NBC Sports Network. For streaming, the game is available on Fubo, with Peacock listed as the streaming option as well.

There’s no shortage of urgency in the match narrative for Indiana’s side.. After letting a game slip against the Mystics on Friday. Brian Haenchen’s Fever prediction for Sunday was 98-92: “Aliyah Boston’s status may change my line of thinking. but after letting one get away against the Mystics on Friday (as I predicted would happen). I’m expecting the Fever to bounce back Sunday.. Look for Makayla Timpson to play a big role in this one.”

Part of what makes Sunday’s matchup feel so tight is that both teams are dealing with the same kind of tension: each arrives with a 1-2 record and each carries absences that can shift rotations quickly.. The Fever’s home struggles sit alongside Boston’s questionable tag and the Storm’s multiple outs—especially Malonga’s concussion—creating a game where who can stay on the floor may matter as much as who can score.

Indiana Fever vs Seattle Storm is set for 6 p.m. ET Sunday, May 17, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, with Peacock and NBC Sports Network handling TV coverage and Fubo and Peacock offering streaming options.
