EE’s new pay-as-you-go SIM plans include “Data Parachute,” offering 1GB free data if you run out unexpectedly.

EE is launching some new SIM plans that will help fix one of the biggest issues for millions of customers.. With more of us downloading files and streaming Netflix on the move, it’s becoming far more common to run out of data.. Luckily, EE says that its latest pay-as-you-go SIMs will all include a free upgrade called “Data Parachute”.. This does what it says on the tin, with users automatically provided with 1GB of free

data if they run out unexpectedly.. “Data Parachute helps customers stay connected, whether to keep in touch with friends and loved ones or use Maps to get home, giving them a little extra breathing room until they can top up,” EE explained.. These new plans start from £10 per month and also include a range of benefits such as data rollover, which automatically carries any unused data over to the following month, and free data

boosts, giving customers extra data added to their allowances.. EE pay-as-you-go customers also get access to the 5G network, which offers improved performance and faster speeds.. Although other providers don’t offer that Data Parachute there are some decent deals on the market.. For example, SMARTY is currently offering 80GB for £8

per month or Unlimited for £20.. Giffgaff has a deal which offers 75GB for £10 per month and 60GB for £13.. It’s always a good idea to shop around and only get the data you need as the more you sign for the higher the cost.
