Filmmaker Rohit Shetty is reportedly slated to step in for Salman Khan to host an upcoming weekend episode of the popular reality television series Bigg Boss 20. While actor Salman Khan has long been synonymous with the program and commands a substantial following for his hosting presence, upcoming scheduling conflicts and prior commitments may prompt him to step away temporarily from the weekend hosting duties.
Industry reports indicate that Shetty, known for his work directing action blockbusters and reality television formats, is lined up to fill the vacancy and manage the weekend proceedings. Despite widespread speculation across social media and entertainment circles, show producers have not yet issued an official statement regarding Khan’s absence or Shetty’s guest hosting appearance. Observers note that formal confirmation from the network or production team remains necessary before changes to the hosting schedule are considered definitive.
Meanwhile, the competition within the Bigg Boss 20 house continues as contestants face potential elimination this week. The latest nomination list features Uditi Singh, Amrapali Dubey, Manish Goel, Arishfa Khan, Lovepreet Gill, Kushal Tanwar, and Mary Kom, putting these participants at risk depending on viewer votes and upcoming eviction decisions.
Bigg Boss 20 airs daily, broadcasting on Colors TV at 10:30 PM and streaming digitally on JioHotstar at 9 PM. Viewers and fans await official announcements from the makers regarding both the weekend hosting lineup and the outcome of the current elimination cycle.
