DeSantis appoints Earl Glisson, David Clark to Florida faith-based advisory council

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Gov. Ron DeSantis has appointed two new members to the Florida Faith-Based and Community-Based Advisory Council, naming Earl Glisson and David Clark to the panel.

The announcement was made in Tallahassee.

Clark is a three-time company founder and investor, a former military officer and a servant leader. He serves as CEO of Allegiant Group, a strategic business consulting and government advisory firm, and Divergent Solutions, a disaster preparedness and recovery company. Clark previously held multiple senior leadership roles under the DeSantis administration, including positions with the Executive Office of the Governor.

Clark attends Capital City Church in Tallahassee, where he serves on the Building Committee. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business management from Flagler College and a master’s degree in business administration from Cornell University.

Glisson is the apostle of Anchor Faith Church in St. Augustine. He previously served in the Florida Army National Guard. Glisson is a member of the Washington Classical Christian School Board and the Kings Development Group Board of Directors, and he is the president of Faith Christian University.
