After Matthew Stafford found Adams for the first touchdown of the game, he inched closer to Jerry Rice territory. Stafford threw him a 64-yard pass, and he had 118 yards before the half.
In the 3rd quarter, Adams remained on top of his game. On 1st and 10 with 6:27 left in the 3rd, Stafford found Adams again, who caught the ball over his head.
Thus extending the Rams’ lead.
