Finally, the political and professional stakes are rising.. The California Faculty Association has called for faculty inclusion in future systemwide decisions. including whether to renew the contract with OpenAI. and it has asked for safeguards: protections for choosing to use—or refuse—AI. professional development for teaching adjustments. and protections tied to faculty intellectual property..
