Colby Raha Targets 100-Feet Jump at Caesars Palace

Pro motocross rider Colby Raha, 31, is set to attempt a 100-foot vertical jump from a quarter-pipe at Caesars Palace fountains Sunday afternoon—aiming to beat his own world record as he celebrates the grand opening of OMNIA Dayclub & Skybar.
Colby Raha is rolling up to one of the Las Vegas Strip’s most famous backdrops with a world record on his mind—and a crash risk that’s impossible to ignore.. The pro motocross rider. 31. is attempting an extreme. death-defying jump Sunday afternoon at the Caesars Palace fountains. where the stunt lore goes back decades.
Raha is set to break his own world record for highest vertical motorcycle jump off a quarter-pipe.. The current mark stands at 90 feet. and his plan is to fly 100 feet above the floor—straight up and down from what he describes as a half-pipe setup.. “We’re here at the beautiful Caesars Palace fountains. where Evel Knievel and a bunch of other legends jump their bikes. and I’m going to be jumping my motorcycle. going for a world record. ” Raha told Babcock.
He was just as specific about what he’s chasing. “I’m going for the highest ever motorcycle jump in the air of all time. I’m going for 100 feet off the floor. It’s kind of like a half pipe. If you know Tony Hawk or a skateboarder, I’m doing it on a dirt bike. So I’m going straight up and down.”
The setting carries its own warnings. Knievel attempted a jump at the fountains in 1967, crashing and injuring himself so badly that he nearly died. Raha’s attempt is “fundamentally different” in that he’s going for height instead of distance—but the bottom line is still the same: it’s dangerous.
Raha’s confidence isn’t coming from nowhere. If he can hit the 100-foot mark and land the jump, it’s being framed as a feat within reach for a rider who’s already backed it up in competition, winning 13 X-Games medals, including 7 gold ones.
There’s also a party plan tied to the stunt.. The epic jump is meant to celebrate the grand opening of OMNIA Dayclub & Skybar. and Raha says the aftermath could be just as eventful.. “The OMNIA Dayclub will be going off.. It’s like Rufus Du Sol and Martin Garrix. and I’m sure I’ll end up in there. but it’s a day club.. It’s going to be at about 3 o’clock. so I’m sure I’ll round up with the family and close friends and my team. and we’ll go out and see what this town’s all about.”
He’ll send it at 2PM on Sunday, and if you can’t make it to Sin City, Raha’s jump will stream online.
The pieces line up in a clear rhythm: a 90-foot standing benchmark becomes the target of 100 feet. the Sunday afternoon send-off happens right before a 3 o’clock dayclub. and the Caesars Palace fountains—where Evel Knievel nearly died after a 1967 crash—serve as the stage for a height-focused attempt aimed at a world-record landing.
