Ciara Miller Shares Her DWTS Prep Plan

Ciara Miller is preparing for her fall DWTS debut, planning yoga, Pilates, gym time, and even a “treat yourself” routine after a scandal involving West Wilson and Amanda Batula.
Ciara Miller is turning a rough chapter into a forward-looking one. and her focus is now locked on Dancing With the Stars.. The Summer House star. dealing with the fallout of a scandal that left her “at a loss for words. ” is set to compete in the 35th season this fall—and she’s already building a routine aimed at getting herself ready for the demands ahead.
In a recent interview. Miller explained that she felt betrayed when ex-boyfriend West Wilson and close friend Amanda Batula—who are also her housemates on the reality show—revealed they were dating.. Now. instead of getting stuck in the emotional aftermath. she says she’s taking control by actively preparing for her DWTS debut.
During an April 2026 conversation with People, Miller shared that she has a plan in place to be in peak physical condition. Her approach is practical and deliberate, starting with movement-focused training designed to build strength and flexibility without losing momentum.
To get ready. she said she’s planning on attending “more yoga classes. more Pilates classes.” She also hinted that running could make a return. emphasizing that she needs to build stamina and endurance for what’s coming. while also making clear that gym work is part of the equation: “I’m gonna get in the gym.”
Miller’s excitement isn’t just about fitness—it’s about structure. With DWTS arriving this fall, she’s looking forward to having her own schedule and a more predictable rhythm, including the dedicated dance timing she remembers from growing up.
“It’ll be nice to have my own schedule. have like a very solid schedule. be able to go where I need to go. ” she said. adding that she’s especially anticipating a “dance schedule.” For Miller. that routine feels nostalgic in a good way. tying the current moment to earlier years when dance scheduling was simply part of life.
Her day-to-day reality is also tied to where she’s based right now.. Miller is currently located in NYC. but she’s already eyeing life in LA. where she won’t have to walk to every destination and can drive around as much as she wants—an adjustment that. for someone training hard and juggling show commitments. could make a noticeable difference.
As she builds toward her season, Miller says she’s approaching the process with a “treat yourself” mentality. She described imagining small rewards for herself as part of the journey—picturing morning stops like Sonic before rehearsal, then planning to give herself a “little treat” on the way back.
The reasoning behind that mindset is straightforward: she wants the routine to keep her motivated and consistent. “I know that my whole mentality will probably be, I’m going to treat myself every minute I get,” she told People, framing it as a way to maintain momentum while getting in shape.
Still, the attention around Miller isn’t only about training. Her recent headlines have been fueled by the shift in her personal circle after West Wilson was seen spending time with Summer House and canoodling with Batula. The two later confirmed they are an item.
In the statement Wilson and Batula issued together, they said it was never their intention to purposely hide anything.. They cited the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show. explaining they needed some space to process things privately before speaking further.. They also emphasized that their connection grew from a “genuine. long-standing friendship. ” which they said made it important to handle the situation “with care.”
Miller, meanwhile, said she felt blindsided. She acknowledged the reality of messy romantic situations with the blunt reflection that “a guy’s a guy,” adding that, whether or not her ex was working on a relationship at the time, you “just can’t put anything past a man.”
What she found most shocking, she said, was that the situation involved Amanda. She noted that Batula has felt like someone in her circle and in her corner, describing it as the “craziest part” that the situation could come from someone she trusted.
For Miller, the emotional impact appears to be guiding her decisions now: once the drama made it impossible to ignore the change, she’s redirecting her energy toward something she can control—her training, her schedule, and her upcoming DWTS debut.
With this fall’s 35th season on the horizon, the contrast is striking.. One headline is rooted in betrayal and friendship dynamics under reality-show spotlight; the next is about discipline. endurance. and leaning into structure—right down to the small personal rituals she says will keep her going as she gets ready to dance.
