Charles Spencer’s unreleased memoir about late sister Princess Diana stolen from truck in the Netherlands: Report
An early copy of Charles Spencer‘s new book about Princess Diana was stolen.
According to a report, multiple copies of the tell-all, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, were swiped from the back of a truck in the Netherlands.

Per the Daily Mail, when a vehicle carrying the memoirs left the printing plant in the Netherlands for distribution to bookshops, the driver noticed his car had been broken into.
The thieves reportedly took numerous copies of the book about the late Princess of Wales.
The tell-all is set to be released worldwide on Tuesday, September 22.
Spencer will dispel ‘untruths’ about Diana in the book
Ahead of the 30th anniversary of Diana’s tragic death in a car crash in Paris, her brother penned the book to honor her memory.
“I’ve been inundated yet again with requests for interviews about my sister,” Spencer said via HELLO!
“This has convinced me to write down my own thoughts and memories, once and for all, rather than having the discomfort of again reading the opinions of others, many of which are based on untruths that have become accepted over time,” he noted.
Spencer wants to ‘speak on Diana’s behalf’ through the book
Following years of speculation about what the mother of two was really like, Spencer wants to set the record straight.
“I want to speak on Diana’s behalf and do so in an openly positive way,” he continued. “I hope this book will be of interest to the many who still cherish the memory of Diana when she was alive.”
“I would be delighted if those too young to remember her in her heyday feel — after reading this — that they ‘get’ who she really was: a one-off, dynamic character, full of love, charisma and self-doubt, who gave life a hell of a go and left the world a far better place, despite exiting the stage while still so young,” the sibling explained.
Spencer supports Harry’s film about Diana despite William’s hesitancy
Ahead of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s return to the U.K., the couple visited with Spencer and reportedly spoke with him about making a docuseries about Diana. However, it’s likely not going to go over well with Prince William.
“Apparently, they [Harry and Meghan] have been collecting footage and reaching out to people to arrange interviews with the full support of the Spencers,” the insider told Closer.
“There really isn’t anything standing in the way of this, aside from William,” the source alleged.
