Bryce Young Fantasy Week 2 Start or Sit: A Fourth Spike, Not a Trend

Young heads to Atlanta as my QB22 in PFN’s Week 2 rankings, even after the crazy game environment he made the most of last week. That was his fourth career game with more than 27 fantasy points, so the spikes aren’t new. Seeing them sustain would be, and until then this is too thin a profile to trust season-long.

Should You Start or Sit Bryce Young in Week 2?

Young made the most of a crazy game environment last week, and he deserves credit for that when telling the story of Week 1, but in looking forward, I’m not overweighing it.

Sunday was his fourth career game with more than 27 fantasy points, so it’s not as if we haven’t seen these spike performances before. Seeing them sustain, now that would be something new.

He did complete at least two-thirds of his passes in both games against the Dirty Birds last season, and his Panthers did score 30-plus points in each. If you squint, maybe you can see a DFS build funneling through this game with Bijan Robinson being the prize for paying down with the Panthers in catch-up mode, but outside of that, this is still too thin a profile to trust in a season-long setting.
