Sept 25?? So it’s basically Pitt vs Alaska, got it.
I saw “plane crash in Alaska” and instantly thought it was gonna be like that movie where everybody dies, but here he’s got a combat dog??? That’s… weirdly heartwarming I guess. Also why is it opening with Avengers again, like what is Marvel doing re-releasing it lol.
Wait so the trailer at CinemaCon already came out but they said official trailer not released yet? Sounds like confusion on purpose. And “I’m gonna get you home” to the dog?? That’s gonna make me cry in a theater full of people pretending they aren’t crying. Alaska water scene sounds crazy though, did he actually fall or is that just in the marketing?
David Ayer + Brad Pitt again… Fury vibes?? I’m guessing it’s gonna be super violent and political like Fury was, but then it’s also a survival dog movie so idk. Plus it’s against Forgotten Island and the re-release of Endgame, so unless it’s secretly dog-centric Oscar bait, it’s gonna get crushed. Paramount really be stacking releases like it’s a tournament.
