Bears-Vikings inactives: Tackle Ozzy Trapilo out

Bears tackle Ozzy Trapilo, whose lightning-quick recovery from a career-threatening torn patellar tendon led him to practice in full Friday, won’t play Sunday against the Vikings.

The Bears made Trapilo, who was hurt in the Bears’ playoff win against the Packers in January, one of their inactive players. It was no surprise — despite Trapilo’s practice activity, the team has vowed to handle his rehab with patience. He was a full participant Friday for the first time since he was injured.

The other inactive Bears on Sunday were quarterback Case Keenum; defensive linemen Jayden Loving and Jamree Kromah and guard Jordan McFadden.

For the first time since Week 7 of the 2022 season, the Bears didn’t have a single player listed as questionable, doubtful or out entering the game.

The Vikings ruled out quarterback Kyler Murray, cornerback Zemaiah Vaughn, safety Jakobe Thomas, receiver Jauan Jennings, center Nick Samac, tackle Caleb Tiernan and defensive lineman Elijah Williams. Righ tackle Brian O’Neill, who was questionable, will play.
