Bears, 21-20: We interrupt the Bears’ quarterback carousel to whisper the following: Are the Eagles good? They beat the Commanders by two in Week 1 and the terrible Titans by four last week. The two are 0-4 and have been outscored by 36 this year. Season: 0-2.
Jason Lieser
Eagles, 25-20: Assuming the Bears don’t get Caleb Williams back, they’re hoping Tyson Bagent will clear the concussion protocol in time to start. Otherwise it’s Case Keenum. That’s too much uncertainty against an opponent that’s 52-18 over the last five seasons. Season: 1-1.

Eagles, 21-17: In a must-win (OK, pivotal) game between two semi-desperate (OK, semi-underachieving) teams, the “drama” intangible is usually the determining factor. And the Bears got more drama (OK, bad luck) than the Eagles right now. Season: 1-1.

Eagles, 24-16: Caleb Williams isn’t going to play, is he? No. N-O. Negatory, Rory. Book it. Etch it in stone. At least, I don’t think he’ll play. Lord, he really shouldn’t. I’m rolling with Jalen Hurts. Season: 1-1.

Eagles, 24-10: Andy Dalton isn’t walking through the Bears’ locker-room door. Neither is Nick Foles, Chase Daniel or Brian Hoyer, all of them former Bears backup QBs who led the way to some unlikely victories. Actually, Dalton COULD walk in — he’s with the Eagles. Come on over! Season: 1-1.
