Bad Ideas Announces New Series Pennies, Parsecs, & Problems: An Orbital Blues Adventure – The Fandomentals
Rack your shotgun and gas up your spaceship because a new Orbital Blues series debuts on The Bad Ideas Twitch channel at 8:00pm EST/5:00pm PST, September 22nd, 2026!
Produced as a collaboration between The Bad Ideas, Creative Disarray, and with support from SoulMuppet Publishing, “Pennies, Parsecs, & Problems: An Orbital Blues Adventure” takes viewers on an anything but routine adventure within the Orbital Blues campaign setting, which SoulMuppet describes as “a time of hyper-capitalism and a cut-throat gig economy… The rock-and-roll future of yesteryear that never was – and nobody wanted.”
The 4-episode series of “Pennies, Parsecs, & Problems” features a talented cast of AP performers:
- DocNormalday as The Storyteller: Doc is the Lead Writer and Producer for Creative Disarray LLC. He is an actual play performer, professional GM, and aspiring writer of stories. His passion lies in storytelling and witnessing the stories of others all around the world. Doc is the louder but less gorgeous half of @CreativeDisarrayLLC.
- Madam3Disarray as Clair “Rusti” Vale: Dis is mainly behind the scenes of Creative Disarray and has provided original artwork for this AP.
- Idlywylde as Kiki Ryder: Idly is the Executive Producer for The Bad Ideas channel, content creators and general mess about the internet. She loves OC cosplay, using her active imagination to enrich the world, and fighting the good fight as the xxPrettyPettyPrincessxx on all socials.
- Madio as Robyn Winters: Madio is an AP Performer and ttrpg writer. He enjoys reading, gaming, and exploring new ideas. You can find him online @madio_the_unbound on Instagram & Threads.
- DungeonMasterMars as Odellia Calloway: Mars is a four-year D&D veteran who runs games online, in person, and at conventions. In 2025, she was honored to receive DM of the Year from the company she is affiliated with. She is also a full-time musician and singer-songwriter.
- FoiblesandFables as Calico Pearl: FobilesandFables is a TTRPG actual play performer, actress, producer, and storyteller. Her weekly gothic horror actual play, An End to Hunger, premieres new episodes every Wednesday on the Harlequin’s Hallowed Hearth YouTube channel.
“Pennies, Parsecs, & Problems” will run every other Tuesday starting on September 22nd with the finale on November 3rd. You can join the R.A.T.
