Amanda Holden’s “poo” technique revealed on I’m A Celeb

Amanda Holden’s privacy didn’t exactly survive the first days of I’m A Celebrity… and honestly, it probably never stood a chance.
The latest All Stars chatter kicked off when returning celebrities settled into the new camp in South Africa, and then—because this show loves chaos—they confessed they were all a little constipated. Ashley Roberts, fresh off the kind of comedy timing you can’t fake, then turned the conversation into something very specific. She told campmates they’re close at Global studios, adding that “they all know each other’s movements,” which sounds normal until it very much isn’t.
In the kind of moment that makes everyone snort-laugh at once, Ashley went on to reveal details about Amanda’s bowel movements. She described how Amanda can “poo quicker than anybody I’ve ever met in my life,” and the camp basically lost it. Ashley’s impression was that Amanda can step away from studio life, do the whole bathroom detour fast, and then be right back in the flow—stiletto heels and all. “She’ll have her stiletto heels on from the studio,” Ashley continued. “She’ll run between, like, a link, a song’s happening, and then all of a sudden she’s running back…” She added, “you did not just…”—and then, according to her, Amanda’s response is: “yep, feeling great!”
It was the delivery that really did it. Picture the camp at breakfast, people staring for a second like, wait—are we seriously discussing schedules and… speed? Then the giggles hit, and they didn’t stop. Scarlett Moffatt even jumped in with her own “Bush Telegraph” message, saying she hopes Amanda loves that the show is talking about her bowel movements in the bush, because it’s “making my day go quicker!”
And of course, that was only the warm-up. The episode also introduced the new campmates Craig Charles and Gemma Collins through a trial—because if you’re going to meet strangers, why not do it while gagging on gross food. The duo went head-to-head in a grim eating challenge called Guts Instinct, with plenty of retching and fish-eye popping included. Gemma Collins, 45, and Craig Charles, 61, had both starred in the 2014 series together, but Gemma famously left after 72 hours and is now hoping to “seek redemption.” Craig, meanwhile, left four days into the jungle in the past series when his brother, Dean, tragically suffered a fatal heart attack—so he’s also looking for a second chance at the crown.
Before the end, they both eagerly dug in—chomping on chicken hearts, intestines, and (of course) bull’s penis—and then the episode escalated into a race. The pair geared up for a race to see who could down 30 shots of blended bull’s heart and blood the fastest, ending things on that familiar I’m A Celeb note of “well, good luck with that.” Hosts Ant and Dec are putting the celebs through their paces, because it’s not just king or queen at stake this year—the winner will be crowned Legend of the Jungle. The other returning celebrities are Sinitta, Sir Mo Farah, Seann Walsh, Adam Thomas, David Haye, Beverley Callard, with Jimmy Bullard and Harry Redknapp still to join.
I’m A Celebrity South Africa continues tonight at 9pm on ITV. And somewhere in that camp, someone is probably still laughing about stiletto heels and… well, you know.
