I cant believe this honestly. This man killed his whole family and now some clerk messed up paperwork and hes basically free. The justice system is so broken its not even funny anymore. Those poor kids.
wait i thought the jury was the ones who did something wrong not the clerk, like did i miss something or are they saying the jury was paid off because thats what my cousin was saying happened and honestly it makes sense with how rich that family was they probably had connections all over that county and nobody wanted to touch them for years so why would the trial be any different when you think about it
I followed this case from the very beginning and I remember when everyone said the conviction was open and shut and now here we are. I just feel like every time there is a big case like this something procedural comes in and just blows the whole thing up. I get that the legal system has rules and I respect that but also at the end of the day two people are dead and the family deserves closure not another two years of trials and appeals and whatever else is coming. I dont know enough about what Becky Hill actually did to say if it was that serious but apparently the whole court agreed so it must have been bad. Either way im exhausted by this case and I imagine the victims family is even more so. Just hope whatever comes next is actually fair for everyone involved and not just a circus again.
