Adam Sandler hits Bay Area spots while filming Time Out

Adam Sandler may be in the Bay Area for work, but he’s still finding time to make the rounds at some of the region’s favorite local spots. The actor was spotted around San Francisco while filming his new Netflix movie “Time Out,” a psychological drama featuring a star-studded cast. He was seen paying a visit to the Daly City Italian standby Original Joe’s Westlake, which shared a photo of his visit alongside the caption: “It’s always a good day when Adam Sandler is in town!”
The actor also stopped by the San Francisco skate shop Everyday SFC, which also posted a photo of him during a visit to the store. True to his relaxed style, Sandler was seen sporting orange basketball shorts and a hoodie in both photos. Sandler, a longtime basketball fan, was also courtside on Sunday at a Golden State Valkyries game with his wife, Jackie, SFGATE reported. Most of the production of “Time Out” took place in Vancouver before moving to San Francisco. The film stars Sandler
as Vincent, a consultant who loses his job and, rather than tell his family the truth, creates a fake new career while becoming entangled in increasingly shady investment schemes. Other cast members include Willem Dafoe, Steve Zahn, F. Murray Abraham, Gaby Hoffmann and Adam Horovitz of the Beastie Boys. The film, helmed by “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere” director Scott Cooper. is based on the French film “L’Emploi du temps.”
