A toddler rave is coming to Boston this weekend

Australian DJ Lenny Pearce is bringing techno remixes, glow sticks, and a midday dance party to MGM Music Hall — for toddlers and their parents.
Tiny toddler hands will be waving glow sticks in the air as strobe lights flash, beach balls fly through the crowd, and classic nursery rhymes get a techno beat.
The Toddler Rave World Tour is coming to Boston’s MGM Music Hall on Sunday, Oct. 4, with Australian DJ Lenny Pearce hosting a rave fit for parents – and their toddlers.
The DJ had been uploading his own electronic music to SoundCloud for years, but after his daughter was born, his routine shifted to the familiar cycle of “The Wheels On The Bus” and “Peppa Pig” like so many new parents.
“With my creative mind I was thinking that I could remix these songs and put them on TikTok. And then it just started to take off from there,” Pearce told Billboard.
His techno remix of “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” exploded on TikTok a few years ago, and more remixes followed. Pearce had found an underserved market: music that parents and kids could enjoy at the same time.
He called it the “Toddler Techno” movement, a way for parents to spend time with their kids, and get a break from the “Hokey Pokey.”
Pearce’s brother, John, is a member of the children’s dance and music group the Wiggles. The brothers teamed up with DJ Dorothy the Dinosaur for The Wiggles Soundsystem: Rave of Innocence. The techno remix released in 2024 and included rave-ready singles like “Hot Potato” and “Bouncing Balls.” In March 2025, Pearce released his first solo studio album, Toddler Techno (Vol. 1).
Now, Pearch has taken Toddler Techno on the road. The American leg begins Friday, Oct. 2, before heading to Boston.
He’ll perform at MGM Music Hall at 12:30 p.m.—conveniently scheduled so the rave doesn’t interfere with afternoon naps.
