Earlier this year. the developer behind Splitgate said it had begun work on its next game. describing it as a movement shooter inspired by Titanfall and Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.. Now. a recent update from pre-alpha footage seen by Insider Gaming suggests the project will be called Empulse. framing it as a “spiritual successor” to Titanfall.
The same footage points to the gameplay moves that defined Titanfall’s feel..
