Trump Claims He Aced Cognitive Exam Scores on Truth Social

Trump says he “ACED IT ALL THREE TIMES” on a “Cognitive Examination” and urges all presidential candidates to take it.
Donald Trump is drawing fresh attention with a new social media post where he claims he “ACED IT ALL TRHEE TIMES” on repeat “Cognitive Examination” scores, while calling for every presidential and vice presidential candidate to undergo the same test.
In the post published Thursday afternoon on Truth Social. Trump urged that “Anybody running for President or Vice President should be forced to take a Cognitive Examination prior to entering the Race!” He also argued that doing so would help expose concerns about other candidates. naming former President Barack “Hussein” Obama and “Sleepy Joe Biden. ” and suggesting they could be “ELECTED” if they were tested.
Trump went on to say he took the exam during his time in office, writing that he “took the Exam three times” across his “THREE!” terms and “ACED IT ALL THREE TIMES.” He added that even a single exam “has rarely been done before,” framing the claim as an “Achievement.”
A key detail in Trump’s post is its link to his earlier rhetoric surrounding the number “three.” His reference to serving “THREE” terms as president echoes language from April 2025. when he appeared to deny the results of the 2020 election amid crowd chants of “three. ” which at the time raised questions about whether he was signaling an additional term.
Meanwhile, Trump’s recent statements about cognitive fitness have also coincided with renewed political debate.. In April 2026, led by Rep.. Jamie Raskin of Maryland. 50 House Democrats sponsored a bill that would create a commission to assess Trump’s mental fitness for office under the 25th Amendment.
Raskin had also sent a letter shortly before that proposal, requesting that Capt.. Sean P.. Barbabella. Physician to the President. conduct a “comprehensive neuropsychological assessment.” The request pointed to recent comments Trump made that the lawmakers described as “incoherent. volatile. profane. deranged. and threatening. ” which they said they believed were consistent with signs of “dementia and cognitive decline.”
For both supporters and critics, the core issue is how political arguments about leadership and fitness increasingly intertwine with claims about cognitive ability, tests, and governing authority.
As the debate continues, Trump’s new post adds another layer to a storyline already marked by scrutiny of his mental acuity and by efforts in Congress to formally examine questions of fitness under the 25th Amendment.
