Sydney home deaths: Man arrested after three killed
A man has been taken into custody after three people died in a suspected attack at a home in Sydney’s south-west.
A violent incident in Sydney’s south-west has left three people dead, and police have now arrested a man in connection with the deaths.
Emergency services were called to a home on Juliet Close in Rosemeadow shortly after 1:30am following reports of an alleged attack. Misryoum reports that investigators believe the victims knew the person suspected to be involved.
Inside the property, responders found a 64-year-old man with serious head injuries, along with the bodies of a man and a woman. Misryoum understands that the man’s injuries were treated at the scene before he was taken to Liverpool Hospital.
The injured man later died, bringing the total number of deaths to three.
About an hour after the emergency call, a silver sedan arrived at the house, and police arrested the driver, a 32-year-old man. He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station as inquiries continue.
So far, police have not charged the arrested man, and a crime scene has been set up for further examination.
Homicide detectives have been brought in to lead the investigation. Officers say a report will be prepared for the coroner, and Crime Stoppers has been asked to assist with public appeals.
Meanwhile, authorities are urging anyone with information about what happened in Rosemeadow to come forward.
In this context, the arrest and ongoing homicide investigation are likely to shape how families and the broader community process the tragedy, especially as identities have not been formally confirmed.
