Queen Camilla’s son Tom Parker Bowles says she was ‘a really good cook’ and made ‘amazing scrambled eggs’ back when ‘she cooked for us kids’

Tom Parker Bowles revealed Queen Camilla‘s secret talent.
Her Majesty’s son spoke about what a great mother Camilla was when he was growing up and what she used to whip up in the kitchen for he and his sister, Laura Lopes.
Parker Bowles says Camilla was ‘a really good cook’ and made ‘amazing scrambled eggs’
Before she became the Queen of England, Camilla was simply a doting mother of two.
“She loves toast, actually, and she makes amazing scrambled eggs,” the food critic said in an interview.
“She cooked for us kids. She was a really good cook — a traditional British cook,” Parker Bowles added.
Camilla read to her kids ‘every night’
The former Duchess of Cornwall is a huge literacy advocate, a trait she passed down to Parker Bowles and Lopes.
“She was quite animated. And she did read to us every night,” the 51-year-old revealed.
“I think it’s fair to say she would have tried to do all the voices, but that’s maybe not her thing,” he explained.
Camilla’s life before marrying Charles
Before starting her romance with King Charles III, Camilla was previously married to Andrew Parker Bowles, with whom she shares her two children. Due to his job in the armed forces, the mother of two was extremely close with her kids.
“People forget that before she was, you know, this royal figure, we grew up in the country in Wiltshire,” Tom explained about his mother.
“My dad was in the army and was away a lot,” he noted.
Camilla has a ‘powerful effect’ on Charles
The mother of two later wed His Majesty in 2005 after several years of dating.
“Camilla’s gradual, measured introduction into royal duties had a powerful effect on Charles,” body language expert Darren Stanton said in an interview. “Her strategic restraint and polite, composed demeanor helped create a calm atmosphere around him during a time when public opinion was still shifting.”
“By stepping back and allowing him to take the lead, she helped reinforce his position while easing the public into their new dynamic,” he continued. “Her willingness to follow his pace rather than dominate the spotlight gave Charles the space to settle into their partnership publicly.”
