Noah Kahan Adds Extra 2026 Shows in Australia

Noah Kahan is heading back to Australia and New Zealand this September and October—and the demand is so intense it’s basically forced the tour to grow.

Misryoum newsroom reported that the American singer-songwriter will now perform six arena shows in Australia later this year, following extraordinary interest during ticket pre-sales. Fans snapped at tickets so quickly that more dates had to be added, and that decision landed right after he was already set for two nights each in Melbourne and Sydney.

Kahan was originally scheduled to play Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena and Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena for two nights each, but now the run stretches to three nights at both venues. The new dates are Monday, 28 September (Rod Laver Arena) and Monday, 5 October (Qudos Bank Arena). That means the Melbourne side runs Friday 25 September, Saturday 26 September, and Monday 28 September, while Sydney gets Friday 2 October, Saturday 3 October, and Monday 5 October.

The momentum started building before the extra shows were even announced. Misryoum editorial desk noted that the tour itself was revealed last Friday (10 April), with pre-sale access moving through a few waves. Fans who pre-ordered Kahan’s forthcoming album, The Great Divide (scheduled for release on Friday, 24 April), along with Mastercard cardholders and Vodafone customers, could access pre-sale tickets from yesterday afternoon.

Today, the Artist pre-sale opened at midday local time, with Live Nation and Spotify pre-sales tomorrow at 1 pm local time. Then there’s the general sale—set for Friday, 17 April, at 1 pm local time via the Live Nation Australia and New Zealand websites. It’s the kind of release schedule where you can almost feel the seconds ticking down before a page refresh. (You know that moment—refresh, click, hope—and somewhere in the background a phone starts buzzing like it’s already too late.)

For the shows, Kahan won’t be flying solo. Misryoum analysis indicates he’ll be joined by fellow singer-songwriter Michael Marcagi, who recently dropped his highly anticipated debut album, Under the Streetlights. Marcagi made his Australian debut in July 2024, performing in intimate venues and at Adelaide’s Spin Off Festival.

And for anyone wondering what this run is really building toward, it’s the new record: The Great Divide. The follow-up to Kahan’s 2022 breakthrough LP, Stick Season—where the track “Stick Season” went viral—he’s now teamed up with production heavy hitters Gabe Simon and Aaron Dessner (The National). Dessner has previously worked with Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and Brandi Carlile, among others. So if the ticket rush felt loud, the soundscape behind it is also getting a little heavier.
