A Mattapan woman who left a local hospital and did not return home has prompted an active search by Boston police.
Brittany Binger, 29, was last seen around 3 a.m. Saturday near Boston Medical Center, according to Misryoum. Police said she did not make it back after being discharged, and her whereabouts remain unknown.
Misryoum reports that authorities describe Binger as a Black woman about 5 feet tall and 140 pounds. with a medium build. brown eyes. and black curly hair.. Investigators said she may have been wearing a light gray hoodie. dark sweatpants. and tie-dyed pink Crocs. and that she was carrying a Victoria’s Secret tote bag with white and pink stripes.
Police believe Binger could be in the vicinity of Massachusetts Avenue, Melnea Cass Boulevard, and Southampton Street. They also noted she is known to frequent Downtown Boston and the Back Bay shopping area, information that could help guide search efforts.
This case underscores how quickly a missing-person situation can become urgent, especially when last known details are time-sensitive and tied to a specific area of the city.
