Liberty closes its 2026 outdoor regular season Wednesday with the Liberty Twilight Qualifier, senior celebrations, and final NCAA bids.
A home meet with postseason stakes is set to headline Liberty’s outdoor track & field finale on Wednesday, as the Flames and Lady Flames wrap up their regular-season slate with the Liberty Twilight Qualifier.
The action begins at 11 a.m.. at the newly resurfaced Matthes-Hopkins Track Complex, where Liberty will also hold a senior day ceremony at 1:30 p.m.. Running events are scheduled to start at 1:55 p.m.. making the meet a timely capstone for athletes aiming to close gaps before conference and national qualification windows narrow.
Meanwhile. competitors from 28 colleges and universities are entered. with the meet featuring athletes from programs including Duke. NC State. Virginia. Virginia Tech. Hampton. High Point and Radford.. Misryoum will be watching how Liberty’s seniors. along with key entrants from across the region. respond as the season moves from preparation toward placement.
