According to the weekend crime report, the incident happened on 30 April 2026 at around 15:00.. It is alleged that Mukanwa Devilliers Simulya, a 23-year-old Namibian male, died following a hippo attack while fishing from a canoe.. After being attacked on the leg, he allegedly failed to reach the shore.. His body was retrieved two days later,
