Caitlin Clark’s night in the Indiana Fever’s preseason opener was almost immediately overshadowed by an injury scare.

Clark rose for a three-pointer. but was undercut by Dallas center Alanna Smith. sending the Indiana star to the floor with an apparent ankle issue.

After the play, Clark was able to stand and walk it off, and officials later reviewed the incident before upgrading the foul to a Flagrant-1. The decision brought three free throws and possession to Indiana.
