In a case handled by Misryoum, French authorities say the suspect is believed to have used an alias to offer for sale data allegedly taken from France Titres (ANTS), confirming that the breach was real and that the records being marketed were authentic.

The timeline described by Misryoum points to suspicious activity being detected by ANTS on April 13. followed by notification to authorities a few days later.. After an investigation. prosecutors believe the same alias was used to advertise a massive trove of stolen records. framed as having come from the ANTS breach.
