“I don’t want to have a big influence” sure lol. He says that like it’s not literally the whole point. Meanwhile Iran stuff and gas prices… seems connected somehow.
I’m confused because if the President says “do whatever he wants” then how is that any different from saying he can’t? Like he still gets credit either way. Also Warsh sounds familiar from somewhere but idk where.
This is why the Fed shouldn’t be talking to anybody from politics. Like first it’s praise, then it’s “I won’t influence,” then next thing you know interest rates are being adjusted for the Iran war timeline or whatever. “Not an endless war” is the real headline to me, not the Fed chair word games.
