Second October ‘event’ possible with new Macs as the focus

Apple already has an unannounced product reveal expected on October 13 and rumors suggest a second round of releases could occur by the end of the month.
It is gearing up to be a very busy October for Apple, as iPhone Duo ships, Apple Home gets several new products, and now a possible new Mac launch. Earlier rumors placed Macs in November, but it seems the “Scary Fast” event could see a repeat in 2026.
According to anonymous sources speaking to MacRumors, a second product launch is expected at the end of October. That’s the whole rumor, what follows is speculation.
Previous rumors called the October 13 reveal of the new Apple TV, HomePod mini, and Home Hub an “event” but Apple hasn’t treated it as such yet. More likely, it will be a press release accompanied by an announcement video with no press day event.
While this rumor calls the second October product announcement an “event,” it isn’t clear if it will have an in-person component. New Macs with the M6 processor are expected, as well as the rumored OLED MacBook Pros with touchscreens.
Nothing else is known about this potential product announcement. It is anyone’s guess at this point.
The original “Scary Fast” event was held on October 30, 2023 at an unusually late time. The iMac with M3 and the entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro were revealed at the event.
